Yichang Changji Technology Co., Ltd. (Changji Technology)(长机科技) is a national key backbone enterprise in China’s machine tool industry, established in 1969. It is China’s only full-series and largest gear shaping machine manufacturing base. As sales grew rapidly and business models became more diversified, the traditional ERP system could no longer support the company’s development needs. Inaccurate MRP calculations and imprecise safety stock management led to inventory overstocking and frequent material shortages on the production floor.
